A design born out of the matching set with the jacket, built on panelling in contrasting fabrics and on asymmetry.
Panel seams around the knee give it roundness, for a silhouette closer to an object.
Buttons are set rhythmically along the seam at the chest, placed where they show when the jacket is worn over it.
-Material-
A fabric with a rich weave was chosen. Among the contrasting materials brought together, this is the one whose color matched exactly.
It is the same fabric used for the jacket, so it carries character along with substance and a sense of quality.
A polyester that reads like natural linen brings the lightness of spring and summer while staying easier to live with than linen.
-Voice-
A monolith takes form only once it has been cut from the rock.
Joining different cloths, giving roundness at the knee, setting buttons along the chest——
each seam is the trace of a form drawn out of the mass.
With every wearing, the contour shifts a little.
