TWILL BUSTIER — FRAGMENT

A piece born not from flat thinking but from three-dimensional construction.
It is finished deliberately in a cocoon silhouette, a form that wraps the body softly.
The straps are removable; adjusted with the belt, it can also be worn as a bandeau.
Buttons opening at the back make it easy to put on and take off.
A sense of collage runs through the whole, and the stitching is set in a slightly contrasting color as a quiet accent.

Polyester was born more than half a century ago.
In a British laboratory, two chemists spun thread out of petroleum. Not an imitation of nature, but something closer to a declaration addressed to it.

It swept the world through the boom years, became the uniform of the space age, and kept pushing the limits of sport. It fell out of favor once, and returned——not because the material changed, but because the resolution of the times finally caught up.

It does not store time the way linen does; it holds a composure that stays beautiful. A beauty that does not change——or a strength that has no need to.
